Just got back from practice, Rob will have some notes coming shortly I believe and I'll chime in with anything additional there. Wanted to give a quick update on some names that were out at practice today as well as a new offer that just went out.
Noteworthy names in attendance at Tuesday's practice
Camron Horry- 6-foot-5, 265-pound athlete from Katy (TX) Taylor. We have Horry listed in our system as an offensive lineman but Houston offered him as a defensive end.
Here's Horry's Junior Highlights
Parker Eichenberger - 6-foot-4, 225-pound tight end from Katy (TX), holds a Houston offer.
Corey Bethley - 6-foot-1, 270-pound Rivals three-star defensive tackle, holds a Houston offer.
Langstron Frederick - 5-foot-9, 180-pound defensive back from League City (TX) Clear Springs.
Wasn't able to confirm 100-percent just yet but Rob was pretty confident that he saw Manvel's four-star safety Derrick Tucker out there as well. I am currently working on confirmation.
There were a pair of prospects that made the trek from Dallas to check out Houston's practice Tuesday in Dallas (TX) Parish Eipiscopal Shcool's Jeremy Hodge who's a 6-foot-2, 210-pound quarterback. He was on hand with teammate Justin Morris who's a 6-foot-3, 210-pound receiver.
There was a small group of 2016 signees that were on hand. I saw Ed Oliver, Dixie Wooten, Aymiel Fleming as well as a handful of others I couldn't quite make out.
