See pages 10-12. Note Georgia Tech and Boston U were added as AAU universities, replacing Nebraska and Syracuse.
Non-AAU members ranked ahead of us outside the P5:
40. UAB
62. Cincy
64. Colo St
69. New Mexico
79. Hawaii
81. UConn
87. USF
98. New Mex St
104. Houston
105. Utah St
105. Nevada
112. Florida Int'l
117. Wyoming
121. Temple
125. Southern Miss
126. Old Dominion
Note: Texas Tech, Oklahoma St were not unranked.
Analysis: AAU membership totals have not grown since 1989, with an equal number of schools added and dropped since then. And there were, in 2010, over 40 schools ranked ahead of us. We ain't getting in the AAU in our lifetimes.
That said, it's nice to know that we were ranked by the AAU similarly to ARWU. In 2010, ARWU had us in the 90-111 ranking category for US schools. We are currently in the 70-95 category.
