Applications are up 10%, and the enrolled freshman class is up about 12%.
We've seen 10% year over year increases in freshman applications five times(!) since Renu arrived. Four of them can be at least partially attributed to football:
Fall 2010 Freshman - 15% increase after spending most of 2009 in the Top 25
Fall 2012 Freshman - 15% increase after finishing in the Top 25
Fall 2016 Freshman - 13% increase after finishing in the Top 10
Fall 2017 Freshman - 10% increase after spending most of 2016 in the Top 25
Between 2000 and 2013 freshman classes, we typically enrolled a range of 3325 to 3650 freshman. Check out the growth since 2013:
