Houston head coach Major Applewhite and staff managed to have another loaded visitor list this weekend for Houston's big win over the then undefeated South Florida Bulls.
The Cougars hosted 80-plus prospects that witnessed Houston steamroll themselves into the top 25 with their 57-36 win. A priority continues to be made with establishing early relationships with several of the areas top 2020 prospect in yet another visitor list loaded with big names from the class of 2020.

Bentley is a current SMU commit but holds an offer from Houston as well as Syracuse and Texas State.
Chaney is one of the top remaining targets on Houston's board. I previously put in a futurecast pick for Chaney to UH and still feel pretty good about that prediciton. He did take an official visit to Missouri last weekend and really enjoyed his time there. He will take an official visit to Houston and also has plans to take official visits to Arizona and Louisiana Tech as well. As of now Chaney is planning to sign in December.
Bryant is a 2020 four-star prospect that's been garnering a lot of attention lately and will be one of the highest rated prospects in the Houston area. In addition to Houston he also holds offers from Arizona, Indiana, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oregon State, SMU, Tulsa and Vanderbilt. He's also received interest from the likes of Florida, Texas and LSU but is still awaiting offers from those three. Oklahoma is considered the favorite at this point as Bryant took a visit to OU for a BBQ recruiting event in July and had such an impressionable visit that the Pearland (TX) product seriously thought about committing to the Sooners on the spot. He held off because his family wants him to wait until his senior year to make his decision, which means there's plenty of time for Houston to make ground and getting him on campus is a good way to do that.
Nutter is a 2020 prospect that's already been on campus before, getting a return visit against a top 25 USF program could prove beneficial. The 6-foot-3, 280-pound defensive tackle holds offers from Houston and Colorado. Obviously Houston's success this year and close proximity to home should give them a leg up when it comes to getting Nutter on campus and keeping him interested. I expect his offer list to grow, so the fact that Houston was in early and has already had him on campus multiple times should play in their favor. He'll definitely be a name to continue to watch for 2020.
The 2020 three-star prospect holds offers from Houston, Baylor, Kansas State, LSU, Texas A&M, Texas State and Tulsa. He took an unofficial visit to Kansas State this summer and came away impressed with the Wildcats. We'll touch base with him to see how his visit to Cullen Boulevard went and if Houston will get a return visit in the future.

Sullivan was one of the bigger names in attendance this weekend. The Rivals four-star prospect has ten offers currently from the likes of Arizona, Arkansas, Baylor, BC, Houston, Kansas, Northwestern, Oregon, Purdue and SMU. He recently took visits to Notre Dame and Northwestern. We plan on reaching out to Sullivan to see how he enjoyed his visit to Cullen Boulevard.
Fatheree is one of the top prospects for the class of 2021 and Houston has already had the 6-foot-8, 275-pound offensive tackle on campus previously. The Richmond (TX) Foster product already has 15 offers. Joining Houston are Alabama, Baylor, BC, Georgia, Missouri, Ohio State, Oklahoma, TCU, Texas, Texas A&M and Texas Tech to name a few. As previously mentioned in the Den, Fatheree also holds a basketball offer from Houston.
