I had assumed from what I read on this site that Gibbs would not be back. This morning, the Chronicle has run a story on Gibbs stating "UH hopes to keep him," and which further contains the following: "UH officials are believed to be working on an enhanced contract that would give Gibbs a bump in pay from his $400,000 annual salary and keep him the highest-paid assistant in the American Athletic Conference". Does anyone have any updates on the Gibbs situation?
