Surprised there has been nothing on their scrimmage. They went three periods first for 10 miutues, second and third for 7 a piece. Third was only going to be 5 but Sampson wanted more I guess. So basically half an NBA game. It was the starters vs the backups. It was tied or very close after the first. The starters pulled away in each of the next two winning by about 27. I think they scored about 62 but all this is off the top my head but felt these guys deserved a thread.

Brief observations
Really like the two points. Ronnie hit a few jumpers but mostly runs the offense while Robinson gives us a good penetrator and provides something we don't get from anyone else.
Gray is quick though smaller than I was expecting. Want to see how explosive he can be on offense. I think we need a guy who can drop 25 any given night. Dotson and Barnes are both going to be valuable for this team because we are going to depend on them be very versitile and filling up the Stat sheets. Barnes looks to have worked on his technique with his jump shot. Meyers and Knowles both stepped out and hit three. Meyer is not that athletic but like coach says is skilled. He is a good passers-by which I can see being a nice asset from the high post and running it through him in the post. He seemed very active. Weary still didn't hit the broad side of the barn with his shot with many not even touching rim. One particular highlight was Pollard rejecting Weary trying to dunk it hard.
All in all it is obvious we are much better and they are much more comfortable after last season and the China trip. I do wish we had the one stud but this team will be solid and not over matched in our conference by anyone. Harris would have been nice for a third center and a possible option later in the season or for certain match ups. This team I think goes as far as they are willing to defend and can hit the open jumpers.
