The University of Houston is holding their annual Red and White spring game on Saturday and could be in store for the biggest spring game in program history. There could be just shy of 100 prospective recruits in attendance and the Cougars should receive their first commitment on Saturday if not more.
Houston (TX) Westfield four-star defensive tackle Ed Oliver will be on hand with his family and there is a chance he will commit to Houston, but nothing is guaranteed. But based on conversations I've had with Ed and others I think theres a good chance it goes down, but Ed himself told me it's not set in stone and I think he might be trying to be coy about his decision and now that news is out there he may decide to wait. So we'll have to wait and see if he pulls the trigger today or holds out on making his decision.
One player that I'm fully expecting to commit at about 99% chances right now are Richmond (TX) Foster defensive back Patrick Rosette, who told me he is planning on committing to Houston during the spring game. I'm fully expecting this one to happen even if Oliver decides to hold off.
Whether it's Oliver, Rosette or both, one commitment could get the ball rolling and there could be more to follow. We'll keep you posted as the news happen.

Katy (TX) DB Collin Wilder won't be able to attend the spring game today because he is taking his ACT today. I talked with Wilder again last night about his decommitment, he told me that he was taking his ACT today but also noted that he currently doesn't have any favorites but Houston is very much in the mix.
