If you utilize Twitter then you ought to follow Carl and Leroy. He and Leroy are very active on it.
Carl comes up with some funny stuff to athletes, usually new or incoming athletes, where he nicely affirms that if you are going to train at UH you will work harder than you ever imagined.
Recently he taunted his incoming folks with something to the effect of, “enjoy your last days of summer because in two weeks you are mine”.
Today some kid posts about the upcoming track year, “A movie is about to be made and I am the Director and the Actor”.
Carl simply replies, “we are the Directors”.
But there are far more tweets where he and/or Leroy are being kind, even sweet, and always positive.
It was a phenomenal year for UH T&F and as Leroy and Carl said recently, “...and we are just getting started”. More great things to come.
