In an article today about Jimbo Fisher at A&M, the Chronicle reported "The worst thing a university can do, Fisher vowed earlier this month, is stop improving its football facilities, because “they become obsolete very quickly.”
I hate that part of today's college football. I like college football, but I also recognize that it's only a game. I want it to be kept in perspective. But there is no perspective left in that statement. The attitude expressed in that statement will lead to a never-ending drain of financial resources.
