Just saw the tweet that the inaugural university-wide commencement to be held at TDECU will have Matthew McConaughey as the speaker. First reaction was why do we need a guy who roams the UT sidelines in Austin? But turns out his Dad played football at UH. I didn't see that one coming. I'm now ready to hear from TC and others with a ripe UH football history about Big Jim McConaughey's exploits on the gridiron for the Coogs.
