If UH keeps winning it could get the chance to play in one of the NY6 Bowl games. Right now USA Today is projecting TCU vs San Diego State in the Fiesta Bowl which is at-large vs at-large this year. We all know that the CFP committee values SOS. SDSU has beaten Stanford and Arizona State and is currently undefeated. Stanford is currently ranked and at this time is a pretty good win for SDSU. But the question is could UH jump SDSU if it wins out. UH would have wins over teams who probably would be ranked at the time we play them, like Navy, USF, and UCF if we meet in the CCG.

Stanford still has to play Oregon, Washington, Washington State, and Notre Dame. That is the definition of running the gauntlet. Stanford could easily lose a couple more of these games and end up with a 8-4 record and out of the rankings. That would make SDSU's win over them not quite so attractive. Plus, SDSU could lose a game to Boise or someone else. In addition their SOS in the MWC is going to rise when they start playing its bottom dwellers.

All of that adds up nicely for UH. If we can just keep on winning it could be UH verses TCU in the Fiesta Bowl. If the stars align could we beat the Frogs this year?
