I believe that was the name of the aggie regent who ramrodded the Sumlin deal. Byrne I believe had told Sherman he would be back even though it was obvious he was not the man for the job. Rhoades may suffer from the Byrne of being emotionally involved in the Levine experiment. Levine needs to go but who will make it happen if Rhoades still does not have the balls to do it. One thing I have noticed about Rhoades is his total lack of working experience at a school with big time football. Yale, Marquette, Utep and Akron simply lack any big time football feel. Maggard understood big time football, I don't think Rhoades does.
