The stats I read had him with 1 tackle and 2 assists last night. I’m sure that TSU was double-teaming him some of the time. But I watched him quite a bit and planned double teams weren’t really the issue. The issue a lot of the time is that, rather than take on the blocker straight up, he’d try to shoot through one of the gaps between center and guard. And a lot of the time it wasn’t in the direction of the play. Plus, when you do that you often wind up engaging the guard yourself, almost creating a double-team situation where none existed.
