Due to the new tax law, there have been changes made to some of the language regarding facility donations in order to maintain tax deductible status for those donations. Seats that require a facility donation may also require a per seat donation beginning year one as a means to further distance the facility donation from a per seat donation. Imagine dropping 100K on two courtside seats and then not being able to take the tax deduction.
