Tony made his debut at Robertson Stadium, losing to a team playing their first FBS game.

We scored 3 points in the last 48 minutes. We had the ball for less than 17 minutes. We were 1 of 16 on 3rd and 4th down (converted none in last 42 minutes). We had 134 yards in the 2nd half. We fired an OC that night after 1 game. Our coach wore a black jacket with no UH logo.

Thus began the legend of 1 TD Tony.
