True to my moniker our ticket office is at it again, as always.
Got my renewal form in the mail which in multiple places suggests this can be done online, of course.
I go online and my football tickets do not show, but it shows a balance due on my baseball tix for some reason.
So I call and say, "my football ticket renewal does not show online so I need to renew over the phone".
"Let me pull up your account"........ "Sir, do you know you have not renewed your football tickets"?
"Yes, it is why I am calling".
She says they are "updating" the website so some people's ticket renewals do not show because of the update".
Hmmm, I would presume an update means it gets better not worse (my thought, I did not verbalize that).
It also strikes me as an odd time to schedule an update, right in the midst of your biggest renewal season, but then what do I know?
On the other hand if we are going to create any issues with ticket buyers then for gosh sakes let's do it with our established donor base because those folks are used to half-assedness.
Oh, and the baseball balance.....that was a mistake, they removed the charges, restoring my confidence in the ticket office. Or not.
Otherwise the young lady helping me was very nice and cordial, pleasantly so.
