Tight end Kobe Idumwonyi has received medical approval to resume his football career in 2017. He has 3 years eligibility remaining. He was recruited from Cedar Park HS.
DE D J Jenkins was forced to retire from football because of medical issues. He is from Huntsville. He redshirted in 2015 and saw no game action in 2016.

I don't remember Jenkins' name coming up in relationship to concussions so I am assuming it is unrelated to Tom Hermcussion.
Idumwonyi is listed as a TE in today's announcement but in March when he retired due to concussion issues, he was listed as a LB, I think. What's up with that?

It does seem unusual that 4 months after retiring due to concussions, a player is released to play again. Thoughts?
