Hey guys sorry that I have been away for a while, but the Victoria Advocate has been running me around everywhere covering prep sports and I'm loving it.
I bring news on Jordan Moore from Yoakum High School. Moore will be releasing his Top 10 schools this weekend and Houston will be on it. Moore told me that UH will be in his Top 3 schools. Moore will be announcing his commitment on Christmas Eve. Moore will enroll early to whatever school he chooses. The Cougars chances on landing Moore are high.
The schools that are recruiting Moore the most are Houston, Texas West Virginia, Oklahoma, Ohio State, and Texas A&M.
Moore visited UH when the Cougars defeated Tullsa 38-31.
"The Houston game was awesome and the atmosphere was awesome," Moore said. "The fans were excited and really into the game. I had goosebumps when I was in the stands."
Houston is looking at Moore playing cornerback.
Moore speaks with head coach Tom Herman and defensive back coach Jason Washington.
"Me and Their relationship is honestly like no other coach in the country," Moore said. "They always check on me. When I visited our talk was basically about how bad they want me and how I'm doing in school and on the field."
Moore likes several things about the Houston program.
"I just like everything about Houston," Moore said. "The brotherhood is what really sticks out to me and the coaches are all about family."
There are a couple things Moore is looking at when deciding on a college.
"What feels like home and what school I know I can come in and compete for playing time," Moore said.
I have watched Moore this year and he has the talent to do whatever he wants on the field. He's a great kid and has the confidence on the field as well.
