Serious question since I don't fully understand the recruiting philosophies for college:
Do teams usually go for JuCo guys whenever they aren't able to fill out their team from HS kids, or do they always put a lot of emphasis on JuCo throughout the year? Seems like we have normally gone after JuCo guys when we either just got a new coach or our offered HS kids chose somewhere else. Do we normally offer many JuCo guys? JuCo recruiting seems to be like an emergency plan, but maybe I am thinking about it wrong?
