They project us coming in second (behind ECU) and back in the regionals.
They have Seth and Connor Wong as the top two prospects in the AAC in the draft.
They identify frosh Jared Triolo and JC Jake Scheiner at the other two IF spots (other than Rey Fuentes and Connor Hillis). I had Triolo penciled in, but not Scheiner, who had a great season at Santa Rosa JC last year (from the wine country to HTown). .402 BA and .672 slugging %. We'll have tall guys at 2B and 3B and a short guy at 1B.
They insinuate that Lockhart will play in the OF (which doesn't surprise me), but don't mention a third OF.
They also say frosh Carter Henry will challenge for a weekend SP and Fred Villarreal will close.
So, that's freshman at least at 2B, RF, and closing.
If Grimsley is in CF as thirdgen suggests, then two JCs and 2 frosh among the 8 position players.
Can't wait to see how much of this is right.
