Don't want to be exorciated over this but in my class right now we are studying the Lost Colony of Roanoke and I'm having my students look at the different theories of what happened to it. One theory is that the colonists and local Native American tribes intermarried, etc and this became the Lumbee tribe of North Carolina, CKS's lineage.
