Note: All live evaluations during recruiting periods shall be limited to regularly scheduled high
school, preparatory school and two-year college contests/tournaments, practices and
regular scholastic activities involving prospective student-athletes enrolled only at the
institution where the regular scholastic activities occur. During the April evaluation
period, evaluations shall be limited to nonscholastic events that are certified per NCAA
Bylaw 13.18.
(a) August 1 through September 8, 2016: Quiet Period
(b) September 9 through November 6, 2016: Recruiting Period
(c) November 7-10, 2016: Dead Period
(d) November 11, 2016 through March 29, 2017 [except for (1) below]: Recruiting Period
(1) December 24-26, 2016: Dead Period
(e) March 30 through April 6 (noon), 2017: Dead Period
(f) April 6 (noon)-19, 2017 [except for (1) below]: Recruiting Period
(1) April 10-13, 2017: Dead Period
(g) April 20 through July 5, 2017 [except for (1) - (4) below]: Quiet Period
