I was at the Coaches Club dinner last night and we've been pretty close on our guesses about where things stand.
Right now, it looks Julks, Grimsley, and Lochhart L-R in the OF, with Padgett and Etzell right behind in CF and RF.
Then L-R Triolo, Hollis, Scheiner and Davis/Fuentes at 1B/DH or vice versa.
Wong is at C with Slaughter as the first reserve.
So, two frosh and three JCs in the starting nine.
Of course, somebody(s) won't hit or will struggle in the field and all that will change.
There were also had some renderings of the interior of the building that I hadn't seen. Really nice player areas.
What Todd has done with the facilities is little short of remarkable. And he's done it without whining once about what somebody else must provide him. He did it the old fashioned way and went out and found the money himself.
I don't know how good we'll be this year, but I'm all in on baseball and this staff.
