Hey, everyone.
I’m an Air BnB rookie, but considering doing it for this weekend for the Tulane game. Hotels in New Orleans are a little more than my wife and I want to pay, but we don’t want to stay in like Metarie or Westwego. Air BnB seems to have people offering their homes for a lot cheaper, but I thought I’d ask some of you seasoned travelers for some advice. So, what should I look for in a listing? Like, what’s good/bad? What’s a red flag I want to watch out for, and then where would be a convenient place to stay?
How awkward is it to do private room? That’s just like staying in someone’s guest room, right?
I want to stay kinda close to Tulane, but my wife and I still want to be able to take in some of the “New Orleans” experience on Saturday night. I rode the trolley last time that I was there. That was cool.
More concerned with the whole Air BnB thing, I guess.
