for the Levine implosion.

"I felt at times like I was the scapegoat at Houston for a lot of things that were going on within the program."

I was never O'Korn's biggest fan but I don't think anyone made him the scapegoat - we blamed the Nesbitt/LeBush offense and for Levine promising O'Korn the job and putting Ward at WR so no one noticed who was the best QB.

He might have been blamed for issues in the locker room but that's not scapegoating. Some of those were his fault.

[O'Korn] followed up several big plays and touchdown drives by spinning toward the Purdue sideline, locating co-offensive coordinator Tony Levine and hollering. After the game, he said head coach Jim Harbaugh had to calm him down a couple of times and that beating his old coach was a gratifying, redemptive moment.

This sounds like a whiny child - Levine was his biggest supporter. And Tony had to be guilted by booing into giving Ward a chance. O'Korn went 10-8 in his 18 starts at UH; Ward went 16-2 in his first 18 starts.
