Five years and $47.5 million for a 32-year old dude who's never faced MLB pitching and hasn't played in almost a year. Apparently, he plays 2B-3B so I guess Valbuena gets the hook. I can't imagine they'd pay a guy this much to sit him on the bench. Maybe Valbuena can take over at 1st base.

Curious move but I hope the 'Stro scouts are on target with this guy. Sure could use the bat he potentially brings.

Of course I mean "'Stros", not "'Stos" in the title.
