One of my little brothers in my fraternity wrote this about his fight with Lupus last year that landed him in the ICU for a few days and left him with scar tissue in his brain that left half of his face paralyzed and caused him to have to go through major physical therapy to relearn how to sit up in bed and walk etc. There had only been 2 previous reported cases of Lupus that were similar to the symptoms he was having, so he had a very rare experience. He's barely over 30.
He was very involved as an undergrad and is a very good Coog. He still came to every tailgate and home game this year despite his recovery.
