Today, former University of Houston athletic director, Mack Rhoades takes the reigns from outgoing Mizzou AD, Mike Alden and Houston still has not named its next director of athletics. Sources told College AD last week that Hunter Yurachek and one other unnamed person were the two finalists for the position. Sources did provide College AD with a name for the other alleged finalist; however, we could not confirm this person’s involvement with secondary sources over the weekend. We are told this person is a sitting NCAA division I athletic director. Lastly, College AD is working to learn why a decision has not been made, as originally a final decision was scheduled for last week.
