What happened to Car? He was our leading rusher in the Rice game (5.4 per carry) and averaged 7.4 vs. SMU but hasn't sniffed the field since.
And can anyone explain why Catalon has more carries than Birden, Car, Carr, and Mitchell (played in Rice game) combined?
Catalon was the leading rusher yardage wise in one game; SMU. Birden didn't play due to injury. However, he had 13 more touches vs Tulsa than Birden but was outgained by 10 yards. He had more touches last night than Birden but was outgained by 41. Vs. Tech, he had more carries than Birden, Car, and Postma combined but was outrushed by those 3 by 33.
I've been asking about this for weeks with no answers. Is Car hurt? Is Catalon so much better in practice that he demands the amount of carries he does despite the lack of results?
