Should we hold back some ships from each 25 recruiting class for possible transfers or summer additions. Last year we had 4 left and APPEAR to have filled them with quality players from P5 programs. The two DL additions appear to be big help for this and next season. The WR has been impressive early in camp and was first to have his blue strip removed. We will see if the Auburn OG can help the OL but we certainly need help on the interior OL. Now we keep hearing of even more possible transfers and that is even before next offseason and summer . We already may have only 2 ships available if Bryan Jones comes . Quite the dilemma.
Do you take the bird in the hand approach or gamble that high quality players may want to come home in Spring /Summer .
Also the early signing period for football this Dec gives teams another dilemma . What is your approach on players who are currently committed but choose to wait till national signing day in Feb? If a player decides to wait and not sign is he telling you he is waiting on other offers? If you are Major do you tell a committed player that if you don't sign early in December we will consider you not committed and move on to others or hold that ship?
