Head coach Major Applewhite and the Houston Cougars decided to host a big Thursday full of visits. This event appears to be in lieu of the "Friday Night Lights" events we've witnessed over the last few seasons.
The vast majority of Houston's committed class of 2018 showed up in full force. If my numbers are correct there was only two prospects that couldn't make it in (Donovan Mutin and Zaire Taylor)

2018 DB commit Johnathan Phenix may have accidentally stumbled across a new hashtag to promote the 2018 class for Houston.
After Phenix's tweet, the UH staff and rest of the recruits ran with it and before the end of the night, #RedOps18 was trending in Houston.
2018 OL to Watch
One of the uncommitted prospects on campus (though he's committed elsewhere) was Bryan (TX) offensive tackle Ylijaah Hall who is a current Baylor commit.
Hall has a Nike verified height and weight of 6-foot-5, 275-pounds. Hall doesn't have junior highlights uploaded to hudl yet, but there are a few individual highlights you can check out on his hudl page.
The Houston staff feels as though they are getting warm with Hall, who will be an interesting name to watch as the Cougars work to add a few more offensive linemen to the class of 2018.
Another 2018 offensive lineman that was on hand was Houston (TX) Klein Collins offensive tackle Kameron Lewis who currently holds seven offers. Along with Houston, he also fields offers from Southeastern Louisiana, Stephen F. Austin, UTSA, TSU, Texas State and Tulsa.
He's a bit of diamond in the rough type of prospect that is flying under the radar of a lot of FBS programs.
