I talked with Corsicana (TX) Navarro College DB Paul Banks and confirmed that he was able to attend the Houston vs Tulsa game on Saturday. He seems genuinely excited about the program. Banks had the following to say of his visit.
"I enjoyed the game. The environment is live and I can't wait to be a part of the 3rd Ward D making plays with those guys."
Banks also noted it was just an unofficial visit. He is expected to make his official visit sometime in the middle of January, likely the weekend of the 16th.
He did have something interesting to note on his recruitment, that could be a potential cause for concerns. He said Oklahoma State has kind of come on as of late and there is a chance he could end up visiting Stillwater. Nothing to be alarmed about as of now, but we'll keep tabs on the situation. He still seems solid, but the potential to visit elsewhere is there, but as of now he hasn't set anything up with OSU.
