How much do people think this season will affect recruiting? Can we recover with a nice class if UH wins a bowl? To me the effect of this season on recruiting is more important than if CTL stays another year or not. If recruiting stays slow then a change at HC as well as on the offensive side is necessity. UH needs something to spark interest in recruits. Fortunately we haven't lost an commintments yet.
Mediocre at best season combined with horrible attendance isn't helping us here. I doubt we can get a victory over a P5 in a bowl, even if we play one. Last I saw it was UAB or Northwestern in the AF bowl. A loss to UAB would kill this class. So what will it take other than significant coaching changes on at least offense to get a decent class? I am not as worried about Hicks the lack of offense will be a factor like it was with JOK. If the QB competition is wide open and it looks that way, a good QB recruit will come here for a chance to start.
