Hey there, trying to plan for the fall and the away game at Texas Tech. I'd like to go, but I also realize that there is no way I'm driving there and back when it's a regular weekend. When we first released the schedule, I looked at it and it was 429 on United, but Google Flights just alerted me that it has dropped to 377.
Is that a good price for that kind of ticket? Should I wait to see if it gets lower, or do I just go ahead and book it now? I want to go, but 800 dollars of airfare(wife) is a pretty big hurdle when you're a teacher.
It'd be pretty cool if it was closer to 600 for the two, but if these kinds of tickets aren't ever that price, well... then.... okay.
Or if anyone just has general travel tips for when it's cheapest to buy plane tickets, that'd be helpful too. I can't leave on a Wednesday or something like that. It has to be Friday night, fly back Sunday.
