If Kyle Allen starts next week, it will be a HUGE mistake for the following reasons:
1. We've already seen what Allen can do in three starts and it isn't good. In two games against teams with a pulse he displayed poor decisions and consistent turnovers. In the other game Allen had a bubble screen & 10 yard pass fest that proved nothing against a very bad Rice team.
2. Allowing Allen to start against another bad team in Temple, will further stunt any meaningful progress with this offense. The defense will hold Temple down and the offense will score some points while continuing to mask it's lack of creativity and QB play further delaying the inevitable need for better play calling and quarterback play.
3. Having an immobile quarterback that does not perform well under pressure will further expose our weak offensive line. A mobile quarterback that is comfortable under pressure with the ability to run is the only way this year's offense can succeed.
If Major doesn't start Postma or King going forward, I am going to lose it!
