I hope your Thursday is going well. Mine certainly is!
At school we have these practice STAAR exams(state test) to get us ready for May, and I know there are differing opinions on these things, but that's not the point. Point is that we do them, and it's how our students set goals and as a teacher I use the data to drive my instruction. One of my girls is so happy because she set her goal of a 90 on this last test and she reached it! Huge improvement from her last! I reward growth and good grades with Lopez Loot.
It was super adorable to see that her immediate thought was, "I'm going to have enough Lopez Loot to go to a Cougars game!" She has been saving and ever since her friend won't stop talking about how much fun she had at the UCF game, she has been wanting to go. So if you're planning on missing Sunday's game, my student would really appreciate it. Mom is a single parent, but she does have a sister. So three would be helpful...
Of course I am willing to buy them, but I just thought I'd ask in case anyone had any to offer.
