When Art and Kevin were here, we had a stat on the Den that we were about a 90% team when we held opponents to 28 points or less. We've now done that 6 games in a row. Greg Ward is 18-0 as a starter when we hold opponent to 28 or less.

Ty Cummings has been on/off/on/off so far this season. Two missed kicks yesterday after a perfect game against Cinci. Which was preceded by missing two kicks against Lamar and being one of the heroes in the OU game. He's got to be more consistent or could cost us.

We played our first game at NRG, a I-AA team then two-straight road games. Total attendance: 96,768. But that was in 2005. In 2016, we started at NRG, hosted an FCS team, then went on the road twice. Total attendance: 185,698 - almost double the 2005 numbers.

I've never seen as versatile an offensive player as D'Eriq King on Cullen. The staff is starting to trust him more and more and his portfolio will continue to grow. And he now has a QB efficiency rating of 349. :) Fun to have him and BWilson on the same team - you can never look away.

That was the most complete half of football we've played in quite some time; perhaps ever in the 19 years I've been a UH fan. I liked Herman's aggressive approach going for it on 3 fourth downs as he wanted to send a message to his team - this is how you throttle someone. When we kicked the FG, I think we'd have gone for it on 4th had Catalon not lost 6 on the play.
