Looked at the Houston Chronicle Top 100. At this time, Chaisson and Wilson were uncommitted.
45 schools signed Houston area kids. Here is how it ranked: (arbitrary, with greater impact given to higher value recruits).

Collin Wilder had it exactly right. If more kids from Houston were less fearful and chose to stay home, no doubt Houston would be a national title contender.

Hopefully, CMA, with a year under his belt, can revive the takeover. But for now, Sumlin is the king of recruiting in Houston (and I hate that a lot).
