over the last few days. Most have there opinions, good or bad. Some will defend him because that’s what they do. Some didn’t like him from the date he was hired because of the Miami fans. Others, like me, wanted to see what he could do but do not like what they see. The run defense has been fine. The pass defense is not. Third down defense is not. I personally became concerned last year as I watched us run really basic blitz packages that take forever to develop. I now have very little faith in Coach D’s ability to coach a competent defense because I see the same predictable defensive schemes over and over.
I haven’t seen anything like this since 2016 and I’m not sure Coach D is capable of devising or calling such a play. Troubling. This is a 3rd down play was on our first defensive series.
