As a result, we can't know if he can make it work as a HC or not until he does it.
And all this gushing over him reminds me of the gushing over John O'Korn from about January 2013 until he actually got on the field and we saw that, while he is really a high ceiling guy, he's still got some work to do to reach that ceiling.
In short, even if Herman goes elsewhere, I really like our chances of making a good hire.
