Just some things I found interesting. Most of em are about us or other American teams:

The Houston defense owned the #1 and #2 scoring offenses this year – OU and Louisville. Both average 45.3 points per game but the Coogs held them to 23 and 10 points, respectively.

In fact, we faced 4 of the top 18 offenses in the country (OU, UL, Tulsa, Memphis). Only Memphis scored more than their average vs us - against the other 3, Coog defense held them 68 points below their collective average.

Navy has scored 74 or more 3 times in the last decade, including Saturday’s 75-31 win over SMU. In the last 2 weeks, Navy has scored 141 points (including a 66-31 win over ECU). Navy completed 8 passes in the two games combined.

Navy has scored 42 points or more 13 times since joining the American in 2015 (in 25 games).

With Charlie Strong’s job in the balance, Texas had 14 turnovers in their last 5 games. In the previous 7 games, only 9 turnovers.

Before a third-quarter TD against Tulane, UConn had scored 3 points in their last 16 full quarters.

They came close to 4th and 50: On their first drive of the game, Wyoming drove to the 13 against New Mexico. But an offensive pass interference and two 13-yard sacks pushed them back to the 50. On 4th and 47, the Cowboys punted to the 21 yardline – a net of -8 yards on the series.

There were 20 touchdowns scored in the Pitt/Syracuse game. The MTSU/FAU game had 19 TDs. Navy/SMU had 15.

Hey, it’s Navy again: At one point in the last 2 games, Navy scored on 20 of 21 drives including 19 touchdowns. They scored 20 touchdowns combined in the 2 games.
