OK, here is the question. Should the AAC expand before the new TV contract?

If you think yes then which teams do you expand with? Has Boise burned its bridges to the AAC or does the AAC schools forgive and forget? Would you add a BYU with its baggage or does its faithful fans move the needle so much that the AAC would invite them if they want in anyway? What about those military magnets that are still out there. Would Air Force and Army get us more money in our TV negotiations?

That is the real issue isn't it. I mean the AAC schools would be sitting where the Big 12 schools were sitting not all that long ago. The AAC presidents would come together to decide if there are any schools out there who would add enough TV dollars to make inviting them worthwhile.

What would be any additional upside to conference expansion besides getting a potentially larger tv deal. Would we get better bowl contracts by adding any of the above schools?

Or should the whole idea get a no vote because there is just not enough upside to make the offers?
