Okay gang, this is a little something I've been working on during the slow time here during the dead period. I know my guys that closely follow recruiting will probably be more into this than some of the others but I'm following the lead on one of the ideas you guys mentioned in the feedback thread I started a while back after taking the site over that mentioned something about a big board and taking a look at the stock of current prospects on where Houston stands with their offers.
I'm going to be unveiling these across the board for each position group, but up first we'll look at the quarterbacks.
The Big Board will have a table of all the offers with each prospects vitals, hometown, school and current UH Stock standing. The UH Stock symbolizes Houston's stock for each prospect listed. Rising means that UH is on the rise with said recruit. Even means not much has changed in a while one way or the other and Falling obviously is Houston isn't getting much love from said recruit.
We'll also have a Trending UP/Down section with tidbits on selected recruits featuring some of the latest news, their current stance and any decision date info that we are able to round up.
I don't want to call this a "Draft" as it's now live. But I may tweak it a bit here and there until I find a format/style that I feel is a homerun. With that said, I feel pretty good about the initial feature. So let me know what you guys think. Hopefully you'll like it and it can be a continuously updated feature here on Cougars Den.
I will also keep a forum pinned at the top with links (as they become available) to each Big Board for easy reference to subscribers at any time and will periodically update each group as additional news comes out.
