As we mentioned yesterday, Houston wide receivers coach Kenny Guiton and special teams and tight ends coach James Casey were making their rounds around the Metroplex for in-home visits. Last night they stopped by to visit Mansfield (TX) Legacy WR Ife Adeyi.
When Adeyi texted me, the coaches were already at his house hanging out with his family and waiting for Adeyi to get home.
On The Visit
"The Visit went well, Adeyi told CougarsDen.com. "We talked about football and the upcoming season as well as the current season. We talked about the offseason and season workouts as well as the practice schedules."
"We are family with the coaching staff, they're a great group of coaches. We call UH home and can't wait to get down for the official isit."
Adeyi told us that his official visit is scheduled for next weekend Dec. 7-9 when Houston is hosting a big official visit weekend with most of the recruits coming to campus. He also told us that he plans to sign on Dec. 19.
Adeyi looks pretty solid and didn't give us any indication he was looking or considering any other options.
