Gubrud is from Eastern Washington where he threw for about 10,000 yards and 87 TDs at the FCS school. But here is my take, if Leach turned Minshew from ECU into an NFL QB what is he going to be able to do with this kid?
We are going to find out in a few months when Mike Leach brings his brand of Cougar football into NRG stadium this September. It would seem that Leach has found an experienced QB that would be a perfect fit running his Air Raid offense. Things just got a little more exciting when these two high powered offenses start their engines this fall.
