So there is this big SEC game between Georgia and Florida held in Jacksonville this Saturday. UCF fans see this as a big opportunity to fire a salvo back at College Game Day (in particular Herbstreit) for what they perceived as an insult to their now 20 game undefeated winning streak. UCF fans are going to bus to Jacksonville in an attempt to make known their feelings of being disrespected.
I say yes to whatever peaceful demonstration they have in mind. The disrespect by those like Herbstreit against the top clubs of the so called G5 has gone on long enough without some sort of pushback. UCF fans think the national televised College Game Day event is the perfect place to start. Teams that have gone on the national stage of NY6 Bowl games and come away the victor have a legitimate right to voice their displeasure whenever the talking heads who are pushing their agenda to keep the "little guys" in their place voice their hogwash.
I hope UH fans do something similar whenever we win on the national stage again and we will. It is coming. If enough of us start pushing back the media will pick it up and run with it because America loves a David vs Goliath story. They almost always take the side of the underdog. And it is time for this disrespectful nonsense to stop in my opinion.
