What I'd like to See From Here

The primary season goals are all pretty much out of reach. No access bowl. No AAC championship. No West Division crown. So--with those out the window---most of the pressure is off this team. No reason to play tight. No reason to play conservative "play not lose" football. The only thing left to play for is a bowl.

I'd like to see us play fun risk taking attacking football from here out. Open up the offense and be creative. Take chances. Try an on sides kick midway through the game. Be unpredictable.

On defense, lets go back to Orlando ball. Lets play an aggressive "blitz happy" attacking defense. If we give up a big play--so be it. We're doing that anyway. Maybe this way we force the other team to make mistakes for a change.

Either way, I'd like to see a more entertaining brand of ball now that any significant goals are gone. Frankly, I think that the most likely path to a bowl and a the best way to score a victory in a bowl this year based on what Ive seen so far. Let the kids have fun and play with their hair on fire.
