First, the bloom appears to be off the rose with Kingsbury at Tech. They are not a hot school right now, at least locally.
Second, the new Texas coach has shied away from locking up the state's best players early, and gone to a slower commitment process. In addition, he's not paying as much attention to Texas kids. Out of 88 UT offers, nearly 40 of them are out of state. Mainly Florida, where Strong has deep recruiting ties.
