I went from having no interest in the Rockets to at least barely caring. It would be amazing for the city of Houston to capture two championships in 8 months, and I want it for UH BOR Chair Tillman Fertitta. He’s done so much for our university beyond even the $20 million.
As for the Texans, I don’t see any championships on the horizon. Unlike Tillman and Crane, McNair has no fire in the belly for winning and seems to be just fine with mediocrity.
