So here's a thread for people who want to post and read actual updates, opinions and news related to Big 12 expansion.

Hunter told us last night that he expects the Big 12 to announce a decision one way or the other on Monday, and that they will not kick the can down the road a few months (as Dennis Dodd suggested).
IMO the decision will be based, in part, whether (and how much) the TV partners offer to buy the Big 12 out of its pro rata clause (i.e. to not expand).
Bear in mind, the Big 10 and SEC make about $7M per year per school on their network. So if the TV partners offer several million per year per school to buy out of the pro rata clause, it's like getting paid for a network.
